In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Hustle Media have provided social media and content support for the annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards.
What we provided:
Beautiful, shareable images posted to social channels in real time from the red carpet and inside the ceremony; social updates and engagement before, during and after the event; red carpet and event galleries; a post-event highlights video.
Hustle Media also introduced Instagram stories on the @comradioau Instagram account, driving a 20% increase in Instagram followers over 12 hours in 2016.
The #ACRAs2017, #ACRAs2016 and #ACRAs2015 hashtags all trended in Australia, as the top trending topic for two hours during the event, and as a top ten trending topic for the entire night. Visual content from the Commercial Radio Australia social media platforms was shared across media and celebrities’ own channels, increasing reach and engagement and amplifying the event messaging.
In 2017, the combined reach for social media content from the ACRAs showed a 900% increase from 2016, as followers and listeners, as well as guests and radio personalities, became more accustomed to engaging with ACRAs content.
