In September 2016, Hustle Media provided media operations planning and management and in-event social media content creation and community management for #ThePlayersChampion, the revamped Rugby League Players’ Association awards night.

Added benefits: Hustle Media introduced a dedicated RLPA Facebook page as a key engagement tool, using video content and galleries to reach 150,000 users and 30,000 video views in five days from an initial base of 0 users.Real time professional image content and player interaction across Twitter and Instagram maximised reach, with #theplayerschampion hashtag reaching 4 million users in a 24 hour period. The introduction of Instagram stories saw marked increases in engagement from NRL players, and a 64% increase in Instagram followers.
